Bluetooth audio for movies?

Hey guys I'm disagreeable to ingest my Bluetooth (Plantronics Discovery 975) for audio watching movies or music on my Thunderbolt. It entireness dustlike for sound calls. Is there a setting or something I need to change to transfer the audio to my Bluetooth?
