Wildfire with CyanogenMod 7.0.3

I am running Cyanogen 7.0.3 which I flashed 3 life ago. I hit the mass problem: when I am on a call and retentive the phone to the ear, the screen is switched soured (standard functionality). Once the call is completed and I advise the phone absent from the ear, the screen is not switched on again. I hit to press the power key to switch it on. It is galling as the mortal on the another lateral may not hit dropped the call and I hit to do so.

Is this a known bug and is there a mend for it?
