Just desired to share this news, seems like using Android's OS makes Tablet creation rattling cheap. How else do you explain this newborn Tablet, titled Aakash costing $60? And thats the non-subsidized price. Subsidized toll is $35. That's cheaper than a cell of gas.
Launched today, here are whatever specs of this newborn Tab
- Android OS 2.2 Froyo
- 377 MHz processor (what?)
- No Android activity access (why?)
- 7" resistive touch screen
- no camera (meh)
- 2 USB slots, 1 SD reverend (alright, not bad!)
I'm a bit skeptical for the requirement for much a affordable tablet at the outlay of downgrading calibre and features.
Someone should analyse this for us (hint)
