WIFI signal strength icon flaky

Had The sound 1 day.

Android 2.2.2. Kernal 2.6.32.9 Build # ZV5.41C0E845.

Stock ROM

I hit not reactive with VM.

WIFI icon signal capableness reads no exerciser or .5 exerciser when awake. 5 When insensible (locked). I am 3 feet absent from Router.

I hit touched around concern and Bars come and go but resolve to .5 or none.

A analyse low WIFI settings for sound indicates what I conceive is proper capableness (EXCELLENT to Good throughout house) disregarding of Bars.

No issues conecting to web, downloading, streaming speed test etc.

Downloaded WIFI ANALYZER app. It indicates what I conceive is proper capableness while agitated around concern again disregarding of bars.

Given this, is the have WIFI capableness indicator ICON flakeyness a known issue? I never trust these indicators on my Laptops anyway.

I did see mention GOOGLeing that the method this indicator uses to manoeuvre capableness may hit denaturized over time.

Any feedback is appreciated (well, not ANY feedback :p). Just a nit that's bothering me.
