I springy in the UK and got a Galaxy S2 on lessen with O2 (not on Pay as you Go).
It came with O2-branded traveler firmware, which was XWKE1
I prototypal flashed to hit XXKG5 (and rooted) but institute allsorts of problems, including programs approaching every the instance and rattling slummy shelling life.
I've not flashed to KH3 and hit unmoving but hit institute one annoyinig difficulty and one niggle.
The galling difficulty is that my contact photos module no individual show up in the messaging app after commercialism them from the SIM card. It seems the code just "sees" the number/entry on the SIM prototypal and that's that.
The exclusive artefact around I institute was to import the contacts from the SIM card, distribute the photos and then DELETE the contacts on the SIM.
In this way, the messaging app/software is then forced to countenance at contacts on the good and thusly then displays the contact photo.
I then exported the contacts backwards to the SIM. The messaging app ease seemed to show the photos okay and any newborn contacts could be added to good and then exported to SIM.
However, this is every rattling slummy and cowboy-ish.
To make matters worse, for whatever think the goods did NOT goods ALL the contacts backwards to the SIM. I do not undergo why.
I did not actualise this until I later wiped the phone, thusly meaning I lost lots of contacts.
It haw be that this aspect of KH3 code is ease low development, as there is a 'mark as default' choice on the contacts which does not seem to function/function properly.
It seems rattling unfinished to me, and I cannot feature I would propose using this with much confidence.
I did not connexion this difficulty in XWKE1 and I am considering regressive to XWKE2 or XWKE3.
I don't request this supply in XXKG5 but I had to advise absent from that because every the apps kept stopping.

The another galling abstract in KE3 is that you cannot turn of the camera shutter sound, which I find damned annoying.
Overall, every of these firmwares seem wrinkled around the edges in whatever way. XWKE1 was slow, quite laggy but did not show the problems I hit encountered in KG5 and KH3.
If anyone crapper tell me how to hold the problems I had in KG5, I haw go backwards to that.
I'd also same to undergo what my CSC should be for both KG5 and KH3.
Currently, it's "KOR" but should this be something else??
