Playing 1080p Content on TV

I want to be able to endeavor a some 1080p videos (mp4, x264, aac audio) on my phone and mirror it to my TV. So farther I hit had choppy results using a some assorted recording players, is there a meliorate recording info that the droid x2 likes meliorate or could it be a bitrate problem?

Also, module the modify result on the TV be 1080p or module the phone downsize the recording to 960×540 and then mirror a resolution of 960x540 on the TV?
